How It Works

Three steps to a notarized document

  1. Pick your timeChoose General Notary Work or Estate Planning, then pick a time that works for you.
  2. Verify your identityShow a valid government photo ID on camera, then complete one approved identity-proofing method: knowledge-based authentication questions, biometric identity verification, or a digital certificate.
  3. Sign on cameraThe notary watches you sign, completes the notarization, and returns your document electronically.

Session Types

Choose the right session

Picking the right session type helps us set up the correct signers, witnesses, and time for your notarization.

General Notary Work (GNW)

30 minutes · Starting at $25

Everyday documents such as affidavits, acknowledgments, contracts, permission slips, and other routine forms. Usually one signer and one document.

  • Have a valid, unexpired government photo ID ready
  • Make sure your document is complete before the session

Estate Planning

60 minutes · Starting at $25 per notarial act

Living trusts, advance healthcare directives, living wills, and powers of attorney. These sessions often include several signers and one or more witnesses.

  • List every signer and any witnesses when you book
  • We don’t notarize wills, codicils or testamentary trusts. New Jersey’s electronic notarization rule excludes them (N.J.A.C. 17:50-1.16 (opens in a new tab)), and a New Jersey will must be signed by two witnesses (N.J.S.A. 3B:3-2 (opens in a new tab)). For these documents, please work with your attorney and an in-person notary.
  • Other estate documents may have different witness rules, so confirm them with your attorney beforehand
  • Plan for identity verification for each signer

We notarize signatures only. We do not prepare documents or give legal advice.

Notice: I am not an attorney licensed to practice law and may not give legal advice about immigration or any other legal matter or accept fees for legal advice.

What to have ready

  • Your unsigned document as a PDF
  • A valid, unexpired government photo ID
  • A computer or phone with a camera, microphone, and stable internet
  • The names and emails of any other signers

Estimates: $25 per notarial act, which includes one notary seal and no added service fee. Each additional notary seal is $8 (for example, two seals total $33). Additional signers or witnesses add to the total, and you will see the full amount before you sign.
